Financial assistance

Limited funds to support attendance of the conference will be available. DMG and DGGV student members or students who will become members during the conference are eligible for application in case of poster or oral presentation

(please note: travel support cannot be given for students from Berlin or Potsdam).

Awards

DMG and DGGV are awarding some student awards.

• Outstanding DGGV Student Poster Award

All first-author students presenting a poster are eligible to compete for this award. Successful students will be awarded financial support (1st place: € 600, 2nd: € 400, 3rd: € 200).

• Sediment Award

Awards will also be given to an outstanding talk and poster given within the SEDIMENT (Young Sedimentologist) sessions.

• DMG Paul Ramdohr Award

The DMG is awarding the Paul Ramdohr award (€ 1,000) to a young academic for an outstanding oral presentation. Students who wish to enter the contest need to be or to become a DMG member.
